8. Brothers/Sisters: Oldest of five. One is a sister. I was afraid moving away would be bad for my little brothers, but I've found that it actually allowed them to become their own selves.

11. Parents: I love both my parents. They are both wonderful people who sacrificed a lot for me growing up and I will always be proud to call them my parents.
12. Who are some of your closest friends?: I don't have close friends anymore, I don't think. That's the reality of being a newcomer in North Dakota. All friendships have tough limits.
13. Do you drink/smoke?: Don't smoke. I enjoy quality beer and the occasional beverage using stronger spirits

1. What do you want to be when you grow up, and why? How long has this been your dream?

Journalist. Reporting is what I love, and it's what God meant for me to do. I guess it was clear since I was little, I did start my own newspaper in the seventh grade, you know.

2. Does it bother you that girls never seem to be interested in you romantically?

It does when they stick me deep in the friend zone and never see me as more than their own six-foot-high teddy bear, or their emotional crutch. However, I have been getting into sort of a relationship with this girl from Emporia State. We date every month or so, and we've become somewhat physically intimate lately. No, not THAT intimate.

3. What, to you, makes a good friend?

Trust. Attitude. Humor. Self-Respect and Self-Reliance.

4. What was the last book you enjoyed reading? Why?

Lake Wobegon Days, because Garrison Keillor is funny as hell. He really tells the story of the way small towns work and what makes the people in them beautiful.

5. What would you do for one million dollars? What wouldn't you do?

I would do a lot of things, but I would not murder or publish something I know to be false as the truth.
